Because the Future of Football Starts with Player Health
Aspetar, Qatar’s world-renowned orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital, is reinforcing its commitment to youth football development at the U17 AlKass International Tournament by delivering a comprehensive on-site medical support programme throughout the tournament.
The initiative ensures that player welfare remains central to the competition. During training sessions, one fully equipped Quick Response Car (QRC) ambulance staffed by two paramedics is present at every venue. For match days, medical coverage is increased, with two fully equipped QRC ambulances each carrying two paramedics stationed on standby to respond immediately to any incident.
“At Aspetar, our responsibility goes beyond elite sport. We are committed to protecting and developing young footballers by providing world-class medical care, injury prevention, and education that support them at every stage of their growth. This commitment extends to sports events such as the Al Kass International Football Tournament, where our medical teams are present to ensure players’ safety and promote healthy participation in football from grassroots to the highest levels.”
