Irreproachable PSG cruise past Kashiwa Reysol, secure qualification

If there was any doubt about Paris Saint-Germain's dominance of their group, today's game should have cleared it.

The French outfit defeated Kashiwa Reysol 3-1 to advance to the next stage of the U17 AL KASS International Cup in an exciting, if physically draining, fixture.

A phenomenal Romeo Garnier netted a brace for PSG, scoring his first just 13 minutes into the game. Center mid Soleyman Zeghadi doubled the mark for the Parisians 15 minutes later before Garnier's second goal shortly after half time.

Juki Uetake helped save face for the Japanese side, scoring their sole goal at the 70th minute.

The prospect of the Tokoy-based club also qualifying should not be ruled out. Their high press style of play and tactical discipline means they're still a force to be reckoned with.

The final verdict will ultimately fall on day 3.
